The Quebec Dance Academy : The Quebec Dance Academy is a program in more than 40 primary and secondary schools in the Greater Montreal and its surroundings, which promotes fitness and well-being. The aim is to promote and encourage healthy lifestyles and good nutrition through dance and educational workshops, which are spread over three sessions of the school year . The youth participants here will create their own dance choreography which they will later present to the public at the end of the session.

Cultural Program at School : The “culture in schools” programs, open to both French and English schools in Quebec, is funded by the Quebec government and cost nothing to schools. Here, the leader Malik Shaheed, interviewer of celebrities and former MuchMusic VJ, is a member of the Ministry of Culture and Communications. He is developing workshops on the introduction to the world of showbiz, artistic creation as well as song writing.

The Youth Star Voices Program : The goal of the Youth Star Voices program is to give the youth a chance to build an event from scratch and use the event’s raised funds to donate to a charity of their choice. This great experience will give the youth a sense of responsibility and will teach them valuable skills such as media production, marketing and promotion, accounting and budgeting, project planning as well as stage production.

The participating youths wil become part of three committees: the marketing committee, the production committee and the finance committee. In addition, they will participiate in various workshops that will allow them to acquire important knowledge in different domaines, all in integrating the theories that were lerant and applying them to the planning of the event.

The Quebec High School Dance Championships: The Quebec High School Dance Championships is a competition which brings together youth from the 4 corners of Quebec to compete and share their strong passion for dance. The main goal of this event is to both encourage and promote healthy living habits to adolescents, through their sustained involvement in physical activities which they enjoy like that of dance.

This competition will feature 3 different categories of performances, which include that of solo, duo/trios and groups. These groups will be competing for top honors within their specific categories, which will be chosen by our professional panel of judges.
